I would love to see your schedules for this..what days do you do mapwork, timeline, vocabulary, etc...?

How do you make Vocabulary cards? Also, do you make people and geography cards?
I have 3 children on 2 levels...would they read the historyy, literature, and church history themselves? How do you do it?
Is there timeline figures I can buy that has all of the people used in TOG?

Also, if I am understanding correctly..all I NEED to add is Grammar, Spelling, Math, Science, and Foreign Language?

I'm sure I have more questions, but can't remember them now...
I just thought of one...
How do you set up the notebooks? For example, in week 1 it says to put it under the Reference tab, but I can't find anywhere that tells how many tabs or notebooks you need or what they need to be labeled as.

9/10yo, 4th grader and I do together:

Correct her math (any she missed earlier)
SWR phonics cards and Spelling cards
CW Grammar cards and Do CW Grammar
TOG Vocab cards
Science Vocab cards
SWR Spelling
Bible Memorization
Right Start C
Vos Story Bible (I read one story)
History of the US (I read one chapter)
God's Design Earth science (I read one chapter and she does activities independently).

She does on her own:

Handwriting Without Tears
Math: Singapore 3B one lesson and Word 2 one page (front or back not both).
Dictation (from a mini recorder I recorded earlier)
Narration sheet daily on Bible.
Lapbook-one booklet a day, currently HOAC Minerals, next will be history related.
Do TOG writing and CW writing by typing it into the computer (in Notepad, so she doesn't have spell check).
TOG mapping-One place a day
Work 5 mins a day on her craft (Latch Hook or sewing right now)
Reading: TOG LG and UG lit and tons of other books.
TOG timeline-One figure a day
TOG State Cards-As come up
TOG President Cards-As come up

She really wants to be doing all this. I have offered to cut it back, but she will even work on them over the weekend sometimes. On a day when she is motivated she has it all done before noon.

8yo dd, 2nd grader and I do together:

6/7yo dd and I do together:

Right Start B
Writing letters in sand or tracing sand cards while saying phonics sounds.
Reading: Level 1 books
SL LA K at double pace (one dictation and one exercise a day)
Handwriting Without Tears
Bible Memorization
Bible: Two stories a day from The Bible in Pictures for Little Eyes
One short story a day (Right now SL Core B/C books)

Independently:
Explode the Code 2 (One page a day, front or back not both).

As a group (DS not included):

Winter Promise Animals and Their Worlds-only about 4 weeks left. It has a Read-Aloud, but we have been off schedule for a long time and just do 2 chapters a day out of a book of our choice (Mostly Bill Wallace books at the moment).

Will be doing Apologia Zoo 1 next

History:

I choose a history Read Aloud and we do 2 chapters a day. This is a habit from doing SL and not TOG related.

TOG year 3:

Read LG and/or UG (depends on the week) books out loud. Listen to Composer music (I have scheduled out composers for the whole year; each has two weeks. I am not doing a people study outside of the presidents.

If your dc are younger than 5th grade I wouldn't recommend a timeline. It is a logic stage activity. If you do have a 5th grader or up I am using the History Through the Ages CD, which is spendy but I don't ever have to buy timeline figures again. There are a few they don't have and I just use Google Image to look up a picture. This CD allows you to copy them, so I move them into MS Word and make them a uniform size, then add any that I might be missing (like they don't have all the First Lady's no all the composers we are studying). I like that I can re-size them for other projects as well.

I just hand write out vocab cards. There is a site you can join for $25 that already has the lists to print out. It is called Flash Card Exchange (http://www.flashcardexchange.com/).

When my oldest reaches 6th grade I plan to have her read her own history, then I will make use of the discussion questions as well. For now I read all the history and my oldest two read the literature independently.

Generally it takes 1.5 hours to do one on one with my oldest, 45 mins with my 2nd dd, 30 mins with my 3rd dd and about 15 mins with my 5yo. Science takes 30 mins a day and History 30 mins too. As long as we are all on the ball and not procrastinating.
