A family is moving on Saturday, they are moving from about an hour a way to a house that is about four miles from us, so I offered to make some food for everyone who is helping. I'm not sure what to make though. I have beef, both ground & roasts in the freezer, so I could make something with that. At first I was thinking soup, but now I'm thinking Italian beef sandwiches and what else??? I don't want to have to spend a lot. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Kristine

A couple weekends ago when we were moving all the stuff out of my Dad's house my sister made a huge pot of sloppy joes. Great food, easy on the budget too.

I'd do sandwiches, chips, veggies and beverages. On paper plates so it can all be thrown away when done.

as the left overs (mayo, slices of meat and cheese, two kinds of bread) are very usable, cole slaw and for something not cold, bring over a cobbler. With canned peaches, cobbler is very very fast and easy to make. Don't forget fluids.

I would think "home-made fast food." Home made for taste, disposoable containers for convenience

I suggest this because if their moving, would something more cold be better? I guess that it depends on where you live and the temperature outside. Just throwing that out there.
