Graduation gifts

I need gift ideas for a lady(in her 50's) who is graduating from college with a bachelors in education this weekend. She has worked very hard to get through this and we would like to get her something special.

If she is going into teaching (and I would suspect that a woman of that age finishing a practical degree like that would be) then how about a teacher's grade book? And maybe something to go with it - a gift certificate to a teacher's store?
