I asked this same Q recently. I think I'll be purchasing several of the books put out by Berkeley Press (berkeley school of music). They have study questions/quizzes and look great!

There are so many choices on composition, publishing, composing for movies, etc. My ds is interested in MANY of these things. Is there a "first" book?

Lol, My son wants to go to Berklee. I was wondering if that was what was meant! Not a cheap school! Thanks for the link.
(The funny part was that I first thought he wanted to go to Berkeley, California - my recollection of that school is all the drugs!!)
