They do not make fancy dresses for short ladies. LOL! I am looking for a dress for a black tie event that my husband is invited to for work. I very rarely dress up and I just can't find anything appropriate. I am only 5 ft. tall so it is difficult to find any dress. Even in our fancy mall here there are few petite dresses. I took my husband shopping with me yesterday so he could feel my pain. :) I did end up finding a black dress that would probably work. It is below the knees but not a full length gown. I bought it just in case I can't find anything else. Today we are off again. Dh is being exceedingly helpful about all this. It's kind of funny. BTW, the dress I found yesterday was on an extreme sale like 75 % off or something and cost only $21. Impressive!
