I see the board time is 5 am and there are still 8 members and 7 guests online. I'm curious. Where in the world are you? And what time is it? It's 12 pm here.

We just finished dinner. It's 7:10 pm Sunday here in Japan.
But mine probably says I'm online all the time, even when I'm asleep. My computer is usually on all the time. Most of the time there is a email tab, a WTM tab and one or two other tabs open. So just because it says I'm here, doesn't mean I'm actually here. Of course, right now, I am actually here.

Ditto to everything you said, except the location :D I'm in Perth, Western Australia and we've just finished dinner and got dd7 & dd5 into bed. Unfortunately ds2 will be up for a few more hours terrorizing everyone; that's why I'm on here, I'm hiding in the study

We're watching a DVD in Hong Kong. Sweet Home Alabama, in case you wanted to know. :p

The huge house where she pretends to live (and the dining room where the mayor and son have breakfast, which is in that same house) were on the college campus where we lived and dh worked. We have friends who were extras in the wedding scene (know all the orchestra guys) and the wedding reception scene (which was cut and refilmed as a bar scene later).
We also had Remember the Titans filmed there too. The Gettsyburg school where they go for football camp, the cafeteria (we were there watching that scene as they rehearsed, when he fusses them all out) and the foggy scene after running (that was on the front lawn of that same house from SHA, you just can't see the house because of the fog machines!) were all on that property. My ONLY claim to fame!

I LOVE Sweet Home Alabama. Such a feel good, chick flick! How fun that you know the house and area. I'll take either Josh Lucas OR Patrick Dempsey--I'm not picky! LOL

Everyone knows the number one complaint about menopause - hot flashed. The number two? insomnia.

We had the pleasure of visiting a few years ago -- loved it. Ds (then 11?) and I went all over by ourselves. Found it a very easy city to maneuver in. Dh was teaching eveyr day, so we galivanted.
We had just spent a week conquering China (with only a week, we did some serious moving - in Beijing and Xi'an). We had two weeks in Hong Kong, so could slow down a bit.

I had typos in each of those earlier messages! I hate that -- I am an editor IRL. Fingers just not obeying.

I've got it listed on each post: Chengdu, China. You can modify it in your usercontol panel if you so choose. Right now it's 10:17 PM
