I need a user's manual for this!

Could someone tell me what the #1 and the scale mean? They show up on the right hand side at the top of a thread. Also, if I click "show unread posts" (on the upper left of a thread), how does the computer know which posts I haven't read? Will it just show the ones that have posted since I last logged on? I am So Confused! :eek:

I can't help, I'm still a bit lost myself. But I wanted to say hello, in case I can't find you again for awhile. I loved the snow day pictures.

The scale is a popularity thing from what I've overheard. You can click on it and pick whether you approved of that poster's, um, post. Apparently we're going to vote for Prom Queen at the end of the year?! :P

Hi Andie! A popularity contest, eh? I guess I am getting old, but that seems a little silly.
That was the first "real" snow we've had here, and the kids did have a marvelous time!
