Laptop users (especially Mac), I have a question!

I love my iBook G4, but I am in need of a new power adapter/charger, and a new battery. Is it a good idea to buy a cheaper, after-market product, or should I pay extra and buy the Apple ones?

I bought the iGO for charging. It has a connector thing that also allows you to charge other things.....like a cell phone! very cool and I am very pleased in it.

I also got a battery...after market brand and I am not so happy about that. My battery health with the original was bad...but the new one I got less than a year ago? it's already down to 71%. So not sure why my batteries keep dying off, but the after market one isn't holding up much better than the original. So I have no advice there. The original one didn't hold up long and the after market isn't either. maybe a general flaw in the design of the machine? Who knows, but if neither are going to last long, buy the cheaper one!
