We live in the Covington Park subdivision in Apollo Beach, FL, right on the borders of Riverview and Gibsonton. We'd love to find local homeschoolers for friendship, support, playdates, learning opportunities, field trips, etc.
My husband, Tim, and I have been married 15+ years. We have two children. Justin is 11 and autistic. Public school was a nightmare as a 4 year old. Tried again in Manatee county (6th grade) and it was a nightmare with lack of staff, resource officers, etc. We pulled him after only a few months in public school since kindergarten. We've been homeschooling him, eclectically, secularly, for the majority of his school years. We also have a daughter, Ginny, who is 3 years old. She's smarter than I can stand at times. The things this three year old can do with a computer is astonishing! She's our social butterfly.
