I have learned to cope, and even enjoy, many aspects of motherhood that recoiled me at first.

But, I still hate potty training. Potty training is where my patience runs thin.

I know, I know, I'm a bad mommy.

She's ready. She's able. And all I'm thinking about is the few messes I'll inevitably have to clean. And, I guess, I'm thinking about the short-term time commitment it will take. I don't feel like commiting the time.

There. Now I've confessed and am compelled to do right.

Anyone else despise potty training? Anyone else avoiding something they really shoud be doing by traipsing these boards?

potty training my almost three year old. She is ready, able, and will go on the toilet when she wants to.

My first did it all on her own, early, and set the bar WAY to high for the others!:001_smile: Then my second was reluctant and I pushed and pushed and pushed some more, all to no avail. Thus the reason I despise potty training! So now with my third I have the thought of "surely she will do it someday, before she is four..... right?" So to push a little or just let it happen in it's own time. That's my question.

Good luck with potty training yours. Let us know how it goes. If it goes wonderfully and quickly you just might motivate me to try with mine, lol.
