:hurray::hurray::hurray: Dd got into the AWESOME (at least it certainly looks/feels that way!!) charter school for next year!!! Hooray!!!! If she didn't get into this one, we would be homeschooling instead. It was the only one that really seemed *right.* I am so excited. It's a Charlotte Mason charter school that's very arts-heavy with specialized teachers/classes in a university-model structure. Dd has been hoping she would get in pretty much since we toured the place. :D
I plan to afterschool science (because she is science-mad) with BFSU, math (because I think it's important, although the school science looks wonderful) with Singapore, and for a little while phonics with ETC and handwriting with HWOT (those are her weak spots). We already do most of those & will simply continue them when school starts, dropping her other subjects.
