Can the lectures be viewed out of order with the same impact?

Yes, we viewed them out of order and found no problems with that. They are grouped into basic categories that lead from big topics like physics to chemistry to biology (or whatever it was) but if you take a chunk of the big topics together, it would definitely work, even if you moved those chunks around... at least for us! We were lining them up with our science study, so did not cover the whole series in a single year...

And by the way, the teacher, Prof. Hazen, is just terrific. One of the best Teaching Company lecturers that we've watched.
