Has anyone used Singapore as their main math and used BJU for practice? I'm just finishing up with RS E and I need to move to something else. I like Singapore, too. So, I was thinking maybe I could use Singapore as my main teaching program and just supplement with BJU. I've looked through BJU 6 and it's so much review after having done RS. But, I think it would be good to get math from a different perspective.

What are your thoughts?

We did BJU math 6 after RS E and it wasn't review for us. It had a lot of new terminology in it. My ds spends 40+ minutes a day on the lessons so I don't think you would want to use it with Singapore. You probably want to pick one program or the other.

BJU does suggest that you drill the basic math facts everyday. So you can supplement with flash cards, drill sheets or a computer game. But I think to supplement with Singapore (or visa versa) would be a lot.

I haven't used Singapore though.
