Has anyone ever ordered a used item from Amazon and then received the wrong thing?
I ordered Lial's Intro Algebra book and today I received a HUGE College Algebra text by Marvin Bittinger. I mean, it looks great and everything, but it's NOT what I ordered and I'm quite sure that my seriously math-challenged dd will NOT be able to do it.
How do I contact the seller since it isn't actually Amazon?

Log into your account and under "Where's My Stuff?" view "Open and Recently Shipped Orders." You'll get a list of all your recent orders. Click on the appropriate one and you should see a "contact the seller" button that will let you send email.
Amazon will want you to contact the seller first to try to resolve the problem, but on the off chance the seller doesn't come through for you, you can invoke Amazon's A-Z guarantee policy to get your money back. I've only had to do that once, but Amazon was very efficient about it. Good luck!

I'm actually not terribly worried about the money, since it was only $5, but I REALLY need the correct math book!

The company should exchange your book for the correct one without question, assuming they have it in stock. Otherwise they'll issue a refund. I've even had companies tell me to keep the other book because it wasn't worth it to them to pay the return shipping. Good luck!
