Yes. It's hilarious! My high school still does donkey basketball, but I don't know if they have a game every year.

when I was in jr high and high school the basketball teams always had a donkey basketball game as a fundraiser. At the time it was very funny, but now I'm not so sure I would get a laugh. But, it definitely was a thing back in the late 70's.

I can remember going to donkey basketball games at our local high school when I was younger. It would have been around the late 70s, early 80s.
