I am installing Rosetta Stone Spanish right now and I don't know which "Learner's Course" to choose. I have a 10 yodd, 9yods, and 7yods so I'm not as concerned right now with the grammar and writing components. I do really want to work on the listening and speaking, but I don't want to JUST do those, KWIM? I don't know if the Full Year Curriculum will be too much for them or not. I don't plan on doing any workbook pages on a regular basis- maybe just for fun every now and then...
So what learning course do you use for your young kids?
Thanks!

I have a dd6 (kindergarten). We are doing listening and speaking focus. The listening and speaking does include some grammar exercises. This focus does not require reading or writing. So far, it seems a good fit for my dd. Remember, if you do not like the path that you chose, you can go back and edit the curriculum path. You may even want to have different paths for each child. Your 10 year old could probably word on reading and writing and still keep up with the 7 year old.

Also, don't forget at the microphone setup to choose easy for the speech recognition software. This will help ease some of the frustration. Also, the internal microphone on my laptop has much clearer playback than the microphone that they included. If you have a laptop, you may want to use the internal mic so that you can sit down beside the child and guide them until they learn to use the program.

My dd loves the program, especially the speaking part.
