Winter in the Poconos?

We're interested in staying 4 nights in the Poconos and doing some cross country skiing and maybe one day of downhill skiing in early Feb. We'd like to stay in a cabin or quaint place and pay less than $200/night. Any advice? What's the best place to cross country ski there? I've search on the internet but everything decent seems either already booked or super expensive.
