How much gluten for whole wheat bread?

I have a recipe that calls for 4-5 cups of whole wheat flour. Since it doesn't usually rise very well, how much gluten should I add per cup of flour? Is it 1 Tbsp. per cup of flour or just a Tbsp. for the whole recipe?

I add 1 1/2 tsp for each cup, or 1 TBS for every 2 cups. For your recipe I would add 1 to 1 1/2 TBS.
