without using the www. etc format? In other words, I'd like to be able to write "click here" so the reader can access the link by clicking on a word within the body of my post. Step by step directions, or something very simple, would be most helpful. Thank you!

Generally, (I hope this is accurate) if you type in the whole URL, beginning w/ http://www.etc.... it will automatically show up as a link. At least, it does on my computer.

I think this one will, at least it did in the preview. I clicked on the globe up above when you are replying and was able to type it in. But I don't know how to do it without the www.

Sorry -- I just reread your post and realized I answered all wrong. What little I know, those links are put in using html code. Mabye search the board or Google for "hyperlinks" (isn't that what they're called?)

Elaurie, this is how you do it:
Type whatever word you're wanting highlighted as the link, such as the word "this". Highlight the word, in this case, "this" and then click on the globe icon at the top of your message box that you're typing in. It will tell you to enter your URL. So in that box, paste the web address. That should highlight your word "This" and then when you click on it, should take you to your website.
Hope that's clear and helpful!
