Charlotte Mason approach and the Classical? Is there any? When you google types of homeschooling they are listed separately, as two different types. So, what are the differences?

Thank you for any input.

Here is an article with one view of the differences (http://www.welltrainedmind.com/charlottemason.php). There are many ways of implementing both CM and classical.

Ambleside, My Father's World, and Simply Charlotte Mason are three great options for blending classical and CM, depending on your personal goals. Ambleside leans more toward the classical side, SCM, leans more toward the CM side, and MFW leans more toward the biblical side with some elements of both classical and CM.

Thank you for the links. I've often questioned this myself.

I've heard it said that English majors gravitate toward CM method and History majors gravitate toward Classical.

I majored in English and perfer Classical.
