To finish my daughter's homeschool education, I am interested in registering her in a highschool correspondence school. We are looking at the possibility that she might have to enter public school, and our state requires that she be enrolled in an accredited correspondence school if any of her credits are to count towards a high school diploma. In particular, I am looking for a school that offers a classical education?
Does any one have any suggestions?
Thank you,

Hello,
I don't know if a Catholic correspondance school would be an option but Kolbe Academy offers a Classical Christian program. I don't have any experience with them or nay other correspondance school but I have been looking into them.
Good luck!

I believe that Seton and Mother of Divine Grace might also be possibilities for you to investigate.

I usually don't post on this board but this caught my attention.
We are planning on bringing gifted ds back home next year - he is ahead in math. That being the case, in the off chance we put him back in ps for highschool, I had to do alot of digging to make sure that any highschool level courses he took at home he would receive credit for. Not just pass/fail, but actual credit.
What I found out, at least in VA, is that even though they have an approved correspondence school listing, and the schools are all accredited, there were only two that they would actually accept credit from. Apparently there is a separate body that accredits all schools in VA, and in order for a ps to accept credit it has to come from one of these schools. Even though the laws are changing in June so you will no longer be required to use an "approved" school, ig you want the credits to transfer, you will still have to use one of the states accredited schools.
Turns out Seton Home School was one of them. It is Catholic, but you can enroll in individual courses.
So, in the off chance you have not done this, and it may very well be different in NM, I would call the local high school or someone who would know and make sure that "any accredited correspondence school" is acceptable. Just to be safe.
Just a thought
