If you have younger students, I'd recommend MFW. If you have older students, I'd recommend TOG.

I started out with MFW completely behind it all the way. Our first year homeschooling with a 6th grader, 4th grader and 1st grader we used ECC. It was a wonderful gentle introduction. Everything was there and all planned out for me.

Then this year with everyone a year older, especially my now 7th grader, we used CtG. She wasn't feeling it was meaty enough for her. That's saying a lot to me! I started looking around and praying and I was led to TOG. I was going to only use it for my 7th, but now everyone is switched over. I still use several things from MFW to save on costs - science, art and music come to mind.

I have to take the kids to middle child's basketball game. Let me know if you want more information.

I haven't used MFW, but I have friends who do.

MFW holds the parent's hands step by step, is built around specific books (but having the choose of adding with the book basket), and covers all subjects.

TOG gives you a lot of tools (pieces) but requires you, the teacher, to choose what to use and how to use it. TOG is much more a central location of information and it does not cover all subjects. It has recommendations of Science books on the website, recommendations for grammar, but doesn't cover either.
