This is relevant to the regular HS boards as well, but I want to get the afterschooling crowd's take on this. We're doing SOTW as an afterschool activity. I've been going to two local used bookstores to dig for books, along with the local library and sometimes Amazon, but I find sometimes that I can't find certain key resources that are recommended in the workbook (or they are expensive). So, I wanted to pick everyone's brains: Where you get your books and resources?

I get most of my ideas from reading the Curriculum Board and then order online. I've ordered Analytical Grammar, Latin Prep, SWR and Right Start Math that way. All but Latin Prep I ordered directly from the companies. This year I'll be getting Rosetta Stone German from Amazon. I only buy one or two things a year, so I haven't spent much time shopping around.

I do a mix of resources. When I'm using a packaged curriculum (I use Sonlight), I order from that company. I've ordered a variety of other new sources from Rainbow Resource and did most of my Christmas shopping through their company as well. However, I always check the for sale listings here, on other boards, and on Ebay.

I too get most of my resources from the sale and swap boards.
