Underlining questions to focus on what's being asked-Is there help for this?

My ds needs help focusing on answering the question being asked. He seems to comprehend what he is reading but when it's time to answer the questions, he tends to spew out related information, although true, not the answer to the question. I am having him underline parts of the question so he can focus better but I would really like some help. Is there a workbook or something that could help me?

I'll have to watch this thread as my 2nd daughter does the same exact thing and I'm not sure what to do to help her either .
