Did I hear about The Dante Club here?

I think it's one of the best historical fiction/mystery books I've read in a long time. I'm halfway through it, so no spoilers!

I really enjoyed the Dante Club. Love historical fiction and with mystery thrown in...great! I just finished The Poe Shadow by the same author and was not as happy with that. It was o.k., but not up to the Dante Club.

If you like the Dante Club, give the Janissary Tree a try. I really enjoyed it a lot, and learned a bit about the Ottoman Empire.
