Yes, 3-hole. When I had used LLATL, the first thing I did was slice the spine off the student book. As we used pages, they went into ds's LA binder.

The binding is so easy to just take the pages out if you are careful.

I just bought Red and Yellow and they came from Rainbow Resource on Friday. Neither of mine are 3 hole punched. I took the student book to OfficeDepot and had them cut off the spine for me; was only 75cents. :)

Well, I didn't necessarly want to remove the pages. I was thinking of having it comb bound, and I didn't want the perforations (if there were any) to come apart.
But if there aren't any... and it's not 3 hold punched... I think I'm going to have it comb bound.
