How do you choose an Omnibus book?

Ds has done part of Omnibus I in the past, but has used other materials for other parts of history and has studied all the way up to the 1800s now. If I were to use Omnibus, could I use book III next year? He'll be in 8th grade then. Thanks.

it's still geared towards the logic or dialectic level (i.e., for Veritas Academy it would serve approximately 9th graders). Of course, many people could use any of the Omnibus books for h.s. and their kids would still be getting far more than what they would use at the local p.s.
