Does anyone know of a good textbook or lesson guide for teaching songwriting?
Thanks!

No, but you could look on the homespun site. I think I remember them having some.

Took me awhile to find it. We used to get the paper catalogue. I don't know if there still are songwriting things there, but you can look. The other place to look is the Lark in the Morning catalogue or Musician's Friend.

Writer's Digest puts out several songwriting books. They're written for aspiring writers, but would easily work for students.

Berklee also publishes books by their instructor Pat Pattison which are some of the best books i've seen on songwriting. Amazon also carries these, btw.
