I used Calculadders with my older girls when they were little. I really liked the page protectors for the speed drills--the kind that you coated with a tiny bit of oil--then the pencil marks would wipe right off...
I'm trying to figure out what material they used. I'm going to Uganda this summer to do teacher training at a Children's Home (for HIV orphans) and I've been making up some lesson plans for Math. Currently they get to write 5-10 problems per day in a tiny notebook. Paper is at a PREMIUM there and white-board markers just do not last that long. I'm hoping that I can find/make some of these page protectors so the children can have access to more math practice.
Thanks for the help!
