I understand that this is an online homeschool conference. Does anyone have any experience/opinion with this site?

I haven't experienced it before as a participant, but I am joining up this year as a Vendor. It's run by Cindy Rushton, and looks pretty terrific. She's got a huge line-up of speakers and vendors. There's a virtual "Vending Hall"; each vendor has their own "booth". Of course each booth has a link to their website, but there are also coupons and free giveaways at each booth as well. The speakers are speaking via live chats or pre-recorded talks that can be downloaded. And Cindy's been working hard to put together what she calls the "Mommy Grab Bag" for each participant, which she has been gathering tons of freebies for. Articles, free e-books, things like that I believe.

I'm trying so hard not to sound like an advertisement.... but that's about all I know at this point! I know Cindy's been working hard at it, it starts on Monday and officially runs for a week, but buying a ticket gains you access to the site for a full year after that.

You can get more info (and a freebie right away!) at my website...

Hope this helps...I'd love to hear from someone who's actually attended before!

Amy,

Do you know if all of the workshops will be similar to vendor workshops at a regular conference?

TIA!

Yes, I get an e-mail every week previewing the titles of the workshops, and they look very similar, if not exactly the same. They look terrific, in fact!

And MANY of them!
