Hi,
I had my dd to the doctor (I had posted about taking her and my concerns). The last time she was at this doctor he had her down as adhd and pdd.(over a year ago). Honestly, I didn't take concern about the Pdd because after all the allergy testing and finding out her allergies she seems alot better...it was a "WOW" situation... :) Even the dr. then was "Wowed!" :) But lately she has started to line things up, alot, and getting angry, etc....(as stated in another post) so I took her. This doctor (the originial retired), says the same diagnosis but on a very low scale. Does that make sense. The dr. believes she is not talking up to her age (4 1/2+)...we thought she was. Also, she was watching how she played and interacted with herself meaning the dr.) She didn't think that was up to level. Also, she seems to be craving pb so I'm taking that out of her diet for 3 wks. If that doesn't seem to be helping, we will take out the wheat/gluten. I will be calling the family dr. on Monday to get a referral to a pediatric neurologist (as told to do so by others on here :) ) We are also going to look into therapy (dh doesn't want the school district involved). Someone in my neighborhood mentioned a place that was excellent so I have to find out the name...
I am so thankful though that it could be worse and it is not. My mom seems to be getting all worked up and I know my dd is going to be fine..she is just a little different than the rest of us. Thank you so much for "listening". I'm glad you are "here".
