I've been using some of the fluency readings with my 10 year old. I put some of the passages through the Flesch-Kincaid analyzer, and they come out much lower than what DIBELS is calling them. One of the 4th grade selections was FK 1.8, and a couple of the 6th grade ones were FK 3.3 and 4.2. I couldn't find any higher than 4th grade, based on the FK. Anyone have any information about this?
