I need suggestions for helping my 9th grade dd to retain more of her school information. We have changed many of her classes over to formats that work better for her like the audio CD for Apologia Biology and next year she will do Geometry as a video course. She does understand a lot of what she is learning but when it comes time to make the information stick for a science test, for example I'm not good at helping her. She is mildly dyslexic and has some difficulty with copywork so for her to do a written study guide for science is not beneficial to her because she spends all her energies concentrating on the written form not the content. We usually study orally with a question and answer review format but I could use some other ideas. She is also a kid that we can review forever and she doesn't get it then all of a sudden it sticks and she will never forget it.
