Does anyone have a book to recommend on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)?

Thanks.

What kind of info are you wanting to read?

The appendix in the back of Fantastic Antone Succeeds has a lot of great practical info on how to teach younger kids with FASD.

I have to head out to a doctor's appt. but I'll check back late this afternoon.

I guess I'm looking for information about how FASD affects learning and behavior and some guidance on setting realistic expectations for children with FASD. I don't want to sell my kids short but I want to make sure I'm not asking them to do things they are unable to do.

Thanks for your time.

I hate when that happens. My post blew up.

First of all I haven't read a lot of general info books. They also the future is bleak and I'm stubborn enough not to buy that.

Here are some good websites:
http://www.come-over.to/homeschool/
http://www.come-over.to/FASCRC/
http://www.do2learn.com/disabilities/FASDtoolbox/index.htm
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/FASHomEd/

Remember FASD is not one size fits all. My dd can't count money. I don't know if she will ever be able to make change or remember her math facts, but some kids can. She does read pretty well, but had to learn sight words. She can't spell at all, but she can usually pick out the right word on the spell checker. She can't compose with a pencil and make anything coherent, but does better on the computer because it utilizes a different part of the brain that isn't as damaged.
