My son could NOT do Quarter mile math. The timer made him so nervous that he would be unable to answer even easy problems. So are there any fun computer games out there (or websites!) that have games that aren't timed? He is in second grade.

Flash Master is a hand held math game device. We bought ours through Sonlight, but I think you can also get it off of amazon.com. You can turn the timer off so that your child is able to complete the math facts stress-free. It is a pretty neat device.

My son couldn't do QMM either. Way too stressful! He did like the one by Singapore Math. I'm sorry, I've forgotten the name of it. It kind of reminded me of the Flintstones. He also likes Timez Attack, but we're new to it, and I can't say how he'll do with it long term. He also liked Professor B's CD, but that's not an independent, enrichment game. It could be an entire math curriculum, and it's priced that way. But it's a great computer program. Sometimes he likes Math Blaster, but it can also be stressful; and it's almost more game than math.

Hope that gives you some ideas.

My children have loved the Math Missions games. It's not drill like QMM. It's just a fun software game. They have two levels, K-2 and 3-5. My kids loved both of them.
