What would you do to remedy that problem? My ds is in 4th grade, and at this point, we've never used readers or study guides with books, just read them and discuss. I'm really wanting to deal with this and work on it in a more planned way. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks

Well, I think reading with her, so you know what she is reading is a good start. Can she answer your questions??

Does she read them alone and then tells you about it?

Some study guides I have used and liked in times past are toatal language plus guides (http://www.totallanguageplus.com/) or progeny press (http://www.progenypress.com/). We have liked both.
