Just thought I'd share my dd's lit project. (She's in 8th grade.) She read To Kill a Mockingbird. The background is an acrylic painting on canvas. Layered on top of that is chicken wire with different symbolic items from the story: soap person, spelling bee medal, knife, scissors, gum wrappers and ham "costume."
