You all have convinced me. I plan on ordering from Amazon.com. There are kits, partial kits, student workbooks, DVDs and so forth. Please guide me.

I personally think the student book and the audio cd are all that's necessary. I find the teacher's manual to be redundant. It does contain tests, but I am not testing my 6yo. We just review the material periodically.
YMMV

ITA w/Snickerdoodle. I bought the TM and the DVD's but the dvd's are boring, imo. I do like having the TM, because we can each hold a book of our own.

I also purchased the flash cards. They are the same ones used for LC1. However, it is a pain sorting thru to find the ones for your current lesson, but you get to use them twice.
Lingua Angelica CD and songbook can be a nice addition as well.

We did fine with the TM, Student Book (just 1 for the 2 girls) and the audio CD.

I've got the TM, DVD, Audio CD, and flashcards for sale here (http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?p=684#poststop). All for $30.

We use the DVDs, student book, and flashcards he most. I started using the tests (which are in the TM) but now we seem to skip past them. As for the audio Cd it is nice practice when you are on the run.

My son and I enjoy the DVDs however we skip the part where she move on to the exercises because it is SOOOOO repetative. That my only complaint with them.
