by which I will be painting/doing artist-y type stuff to. I have some Jon Mayer, some Mika, some Allanis Morisset, some Jimmy Buffet, John Hyatt, and a couple of my fave Neil Diamond. Also some Chordettes.
Can you help me with some suggestions? I like all sorts of music, but not too much hard rock (all that screeching guitar does not bode well for my easy to incite migraines). I want rockin' tunes with good rhythm and fun to sing to lyrics.

What are some of your best keep-you-movin- soundtracks? What do you clean to, move to, do art to, dance-with-your-kids to, or rock out when no one else is around to?

Thanks friends,

Well, if you are just listening to the music and not really watching the videos, I would use pandora.com instead of you tube.
It is sort of a customized radio station. You put in an artist or song you like and then they play music that is similar to the one you entered.
I have a Paul Simon station, John Hiatt station, Simple Plan and Nickelback for my ds, etc. You can also do a quick mix where it will shuffle through your different stations so you can have a wider variety of listening.
You do have to register, but if that is not a problem this is the way I would go.

Maybe I can lure you back to metal with Buckethead's Jordan (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pytlmRmxZkA)???? Plato, Cicero, RL Moore, and Buckethead.

But something you'll be happier with might be Enya's Orinoco Flow (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a88-Tyl1gkI)

Hmm, I am listening to it right now- not bad at all for my purpose- so far no one is yelling at me, lol. It also reminds me that I want some Joe Satriani too.

Thanks, Deece! I hadn't heard of this before. Registering is fine with me as long as it is free, lol.
