Okay so this year was my daughters' very first year with attending a brick and mortar school. The school uses Saxon math and for the most part my younger three are doing really well with it. My oldest can't seem to wrap her brain around it at all. In the past I used Bob Jones, Calvert, math programs with her and she seemed to do well with it.
Right now she is using Saxon 7/6 , is there a math program I can match up to it at all? I think she needs to focus on one topic at a time.
I've been looking at Rod and Staff math, not sure about Singapore, any suggestions?
Not sure where to go with this since the whole schooling/afterschooling thing is new to us this year.

I can't do Saxon. It doesn't make any sense to me. My brain doesn't work that way.

Saxon is way too random for me. I would pick up one of the programs she has had success with in the past and keep doing that after school, on vacations and in the Summer. The goal would be to get her ahead enough that the Saxon at school is review.

This is basically what we do. One more session and dd will have finished Singapore 4. There is nothing that she will do at school this year, that she hasn't already seen in our chosen program so school becomes the review.

Okay :>) Thanks that makes the most sense. I'll have to look through her Saxon math book and see if the BJU 6 would work her ahead.
