I really wanted a pick up and go thorough geography curriculum for 7th grade but I am having sticker shock. Is this worth the $$?

I like it and most importantly DD likes it.

Is it worth the $$? I wouldn't purchase it new. I would try to find it used.

But with that said, if you purchase it new, the teacher book has been updated by Geo Matters and it seems to have more information in it then the old version. I want that teacher book! But I am worried it won't be with $10 plus shipping to get it. Still up in the air about that one.

I don't use the map activity book either. I find it to confusing to use.

I really appreciate the depth the book went into!

I have the old teacher's guide. . .don't really recall using it. And I certainly didn't use the student activity workbook because it was confusing.

I'm currently trying to finish up a schedule for this course, and hope to upload it onto my blog this week. Mrs. Runkle even sent me her syllabus for the course she teaches and encouraged me to use parts of it.

Agreeing with others to purchase it used.

Yes, it is a very good curriculum; my 7th grade boys have pretty much done it by themselves this year. (They are very motivated and responsible.)

If you can wait a month or so I'll have one copy of the textbook to sell. ;)

I'm going to hang onto the TM, though, so we'll have it with my upcoming dc.

I am planning on using this next year for 9th grade. I must have
the older teacher's guide. Does anyone know if the new teacher's
guide has enough new info and does it incorporate the Student
Activity Workbook into the curriculum? Maybe someone has both
teacher's guides and can educate me. Thanks.
