I would appreciate any books or guides you have read and can recommend for afterschooling - particulary at the Kindergarten/elementary level.

This may not be exactly what you want, but Raising Lifelong Learners is one of my favorite books and is really "speaking" to parents of kids in school.

I like the Core Knowledge books.

We did the preschool and kindergarten books in this series. We are now in the first grade book and just finished the "history" section. Loved it!

I also enjoyed reading:

I need to go back to this and make sure we're hitting everything for first grade.

Good luck!
