How have you used Vocabulary Vine

Hi everyone,
I purchased Vocabulary Vine a few years ago and have tried to implement it in our school without success. I was curious how others have used this program and what their schedule might have looked like. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We scheduled 3 roots a week most weeks. I used it with my dd, so I bought her colored index cards and pretty gel pens to use for making her cards. We also used a card file box with alphabet tabs and just used the program as written -- start with the first root and make a card. I also had her review her cards regularly and gave her oral quizzes.

We used this last year and found it very effective. I noticed that she was able to figure out meanings for new words easily and asked her if it was because of her Latin studies. She answered that it was because of VV!

I have purchased this and plan on using it, hopefully this year.

We tried VV and Words on the Vine, but they weren't good "fits" for us. This year DD12 has been using Vocabulary from Classical Roots with great success.
