Illegal activity in our homeschool!?!

For the first time today, I dictated a passage directly from the book my 8 yo. son is reading. This is the conversation that resulted:

He sternly announced, "This is illegal!"

I asked, "What are you talking about?" Fully expecting some twist regarding the amount of work he had to do today.

He answered in a very serious tone, "We are copying the book word for word, and that is plagerism!"

I love moments like these!:lol:

This goes to show that there IS more to education than ABC. Your son also is developing morally, and that's what it's all about! Could he give speeches at high schools and colleges across the nation?
