Tomorrow is the Winter 2008 short Story Contest, where you can pay $5 and then get an email of a story beginning, and then you have 24 hours to write up a story and send it in. Fun! We have done it several times, and it is quite enjoyable. So if you have an creative writers in the house, this might be a fun challenge! Also, if you like your story and yet it doesn't win, you can save it for next fall and send it into Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, which is another fun program.
