Good chess interactive teaching programm for small kids

I was in search for good interactive chess program for my daughter with interactive talking tutorial. The one I would prefer is ChessMates, I have checked it many years earlier, but it only works with Windows95, I still can not arrange another computer with it. So I bought on ebay LegoChess, and it is good. Not as good as Chessmates, but provides talking instructions, and lots of excersize. My daughter really enjoys it for already 4+ hours. It is self-teaching, and she learns all by herself, instructing me time to time. She is 5, and we just stat learning Chess, Mom too. So, if someone is looking for Chess software review, Lego Chess is very good for a small child beginner. Lena

Chester and Friz did not work on our computer Windows2000. I don't know if it suppose to, but did not. We wanted to try it.

we had problems getting lego chess to run on our computers but f&c works fine. we have windows xp. don't know if that's any hel:001_smile:p at all!

My oldest loved Fritz and Chesster. She hasn't tried the third one yet, because last time I checked, there wasn't a Mac version.

A friend gave us ChessMaster 9000. We have it working on our Windows XP Home computer. This is great, and yes it also talks to ya. I like it because it has classes from beginner thru master levels. It also offers the option to just play games. They can go by rank and play against anyone from a monkey to a master level player.
