I need one really badly. I'm so sick of trying to get to Office Depot in between DH's work schedule. I'm checking craigslist to see what's out there locally and Amazon for reviews. It seems like EVERYTHING I'm seeing has some kind of problems that doesn't cost $350 and up that is. I have had a great experience with HP inkjets (just bad experience with kids pesky fingers!) It seems that their AIO's are pieces of junk. I think I've heard that Canons are good. Any experience with those? I'm not sure of my budget as of yet, maybe under $200.

Any thoughts, recommendations, comments, etc. is welcomed on this.

I love my DCP7020 (http://www.amazon.com/Brother-DCP-7020-Digital-Copier-Printer/dp/B0007PF7GU) from Brother.

I love my DCP7020 (http://www.amazon.com/Brother-DCP-7020-Digital-Copier-Printer/dp/B0007PF7GU) from Brother.

It gets used a lot! Overall I'm pleased, I did have to replace our drum with in the first year, in addition to the toner - the drum was $80, the toner runs ~ $43 for Brother, I haven't had good experience with generics.

I had an HP for many years, and my struggles with it became legendary, LOL. :glare:

We bought a Canon based on a lot of research on ink prices. Canon is supposed to be the best. We are very happy with it. We even had one ink cartridge that wouldn't "read" (there was something wrong with the little chip that tells how full it is,) and I called them and they sent me a new full one immediately.

Do you mind sharing which model of Canon you have?

The two that we've liked best were the Cannon and the Dell. Both were 4-in-1 machines. The only reason we got rid of the Cannon was because it became the extra printer when Dell sent a printer with dh's new computer. We moved and I didn't want to haul an extra printer around.

I'm waiting to be able to afford a lasar printer. That will be our next one.

We just bought a new copier too. After a LOT of research, we settled on a Cannon MX 850. It was a little more that I initially wanted to spend, but has already paid for the extra in ink savings. We just had to replace the original black ink cartridge a couple of days ago (we've had it about 3 months, probably copied about 600 to 800 color sheets).

I just saw it on sale at Staples for about $240.

We got a Canon PC940 from Staples on sale a couple of years ago. I'm very pleased with it. I don't know how I ever survived all those years without one.
