Of course, I would find a way to mess up the easiest registration process imaginable, but the lovely administrators here have fixed me up, and now I can post!
Btw, I have been a member forced to lurk for a few days now, but I couldn't post or do anything. Anyway, I just wanted to let ya'll know I hadn't snubbed you or anything. As you were.

Thank you. I saw your post the other day about your knitting problem, and it was killing me not to be able to help you, but I saw you got lots of good advice. You still need to join Ravelry, though, and be a part of our group there.

Oh I am on! You and I are friends on there too! I just haven't gotten really active with it. I do have a bunch of yarn that I am hoping to solicit advice for what to do with it.

Oh, that's right, you are on. I remember when you joined. Sorry about that, the group has taken on several new members in the past week or so (which is great! keep 'em coming!), but I believe there is someone here who is fairly new to knitting, and was intimidated by Ravelry, that I haven't talked into joining yet. I confused her with you.
About the yarn and needing ideas. I click on the Yarn tab on Ravelry, and then type in my yarn name, and it will give you lots of ideas and pictures of projects that others have made with that same yarn. I do this when I'm not sure about buying a new yarn as well, before I shell out the $$ on something I haven't tried before. I wish Ravelry were there when I bought 20 skeins of Patons Lacette on clearance for $1 each. Now I have tons of this extra-fine mohair yarn, and it's one of the least-used yarns out there, not to mention being a pain in the behind to knit with. I never would have bought it if I had known. *sigh* :o
