Williamsburg, VA--anyone up for a play date?

My poor little seven-year-old girl is surrounded by testosterone, and her best friend just moved to Colorado. Would LOVE to hear from another girl close enough to Charles City to play with her (probably New Kent, James City, Williamsburg...Hampton Roads is a bit far).

Boys are 16, 14, and 11, BTW, and are also up for making new friends.

We are in Williamsburg often, dh works at CW, and we worship and play on that side of the water. (We ride a ferry at 4-5 times a week :-) Boys are 17, 14, 8, and 3. There are loads of homeschool boys and girls, every Monday and Tuesday afternoon at the Williamsburg bowling alley for the homeschool league.

We are currently about to be homeless.....can't find a house in Richmond that we like and close on this one on the 30th. Some friends told us to look on the Williamsburg side, but I only went that direction one day (Providence Forge area).

Maybe I should go with option 4 in my poll and make you my first stop!! ;)

Really, I have little girls in the same situation. My 2 middle dds are 6 and 9 and we never seem to be near little girls. Always boys in their age group!

Providence Forge isn't really the height of beauty and culture out this way. Maybe you should look in Charles City. Lots of great space out here. Good company too. :-)

the one next door to me was for sale... Currently they've put it for rent. We're just north of Richmond;)

Aww, Lucy would LOVE to play with Emily, but I haven't been able to talk Joe into moving south (yet). It's becoming my all-consuming dream to move south and escape the cold and snow....but I'm diverging. :) Hope she finds some new friends.

Bowling is on Mondays and Tuesdays at 1:00 at Williamsburg AMF. We started the winter/spring season last week, but that doesn't mean it is too late. Call the Bowling Alley and ask for Maggie. She will be able to tell you.

We also bowl in the summer.

As much as *I* would enjoy getting our families together (and I don't mind the drive to W-burg), I don't think that bringing my four boys would help lower the testosterone level.
