I've gone in twice now to ask dh to move the tv for me - he's playing poker with his "buddies". He didn't answer either time.
This is very unlike him. Maybe I've become invisible.
How about it....can you see me?

I'm invisible and cannot be heard when my husband is reading his email.
It's an iteresting phenomenon, really. At no other time does he fail to see or hear me. Only when that inbox is open.

you must not be asking correctly.
walk up behind him, slide your hands seductively down the front of his chest, lean down to his ear and ask in thick, slow, syllables:
Do you know what I want you to do Right Now, where all your buddies can watch?

Did somebody say something?
:hat:
I actually asked someone in a line the other day if I was invisible. I think it's my age.

Naw, really. Maybe it's just the timing. Is there any reason it can't wait until after his buddies are gone? Just a thought....

Oh, it's nice to know I'm not entirely invisible.
Peek - I actually kissed him once last night and he stared at me blankly.....
I wondered if we were having a fight I didn't know about, LOL. I got ds to help me move the tv and when the poker was over and the buddies were gone he acted like everything was perfectly normal. He was happy, cheerful, loving....didn't even notice the tv was in a new place. Yeeesh.

It's not you, men can't do more than one thing at a time. I learned long ago never to try to start a conversation or ask a question if he is watching TV, playing on the computer or reading. :tongue_smilie:

I think you needed to change your avatar pic to catwoman (http://us.movies1.yimg.com/movies.yahoo.com/images/hv/photo/movie_pix/warner_brothers/batman_returns/_group_photos/michael_keaton4.jpg) for that post! :D

This will sound odd, but I'd prefer that - knowing he didn't acknowledge you - to what my husband does. He automatically responds (with a "yes," "uh-huh," "okay") and so I think he's LISTENING. Then later he'll have no clue why I'm upset that he has no recollection of our conversation!!! I've started annoying him by asking him to acknowledge he knows what I'm talking about!
But yes, I guess men aren't so great at multi-tasking . . .
(Oh, and that YouTube video was HILARIOUS!!!! I love the "Nothing Box"!!!) :)
